We’re looking to add great new talent to our Omni-channel portfolio for an assertive and independent Business Analyst. The candidate will play an intermediary role between the technical team and the business assisting in the definition and implementation of Omni-channel projects for the Group. Key performance areas:

 

  • Build in-depth knowledge of the various Omni-channel systems
  • Evaluation and analysis of information
  • Working in an agile environment, working closely with the Product Owner and Scrum Master
  • Provide guidance to the business as required in order to determine optimal solutions
  • Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions
  • Document and analyze existing ‘AS-IS’ and develop ‘TO-BE’ business processes
  • Elicit, understand and document business and user requirements into user stories
  • Produce documentation and user stories, including flowcharts, use cases, wireframes and any other diagrams required to clarify business understanding
  • Assist developers with the unit and integration testing
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing sessions
  • Ensure that project scope is managed and deadlines met

To qualify for this position, you will need:

 

  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Business Analysis diploma or qualification
  • Omni-channel background and/or experience would be advantageous
  • Experience as a Business Analyst on IT projects
  • Experience in working across all levels of business (Junior users through to Executive level)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Planning and organising skills
  • Sound business acumen
  • High level of influence and credibility
  • Strategic thinking ability, with an analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Effective communication skills
  • Good facilitation skills
  • A strong customer service focus
  • To be able to anticipate and evaluate the impact of possible problem solutions prior to implementation
