The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship was established by the University of Otago in 2015 to celebrate the excellence of students enrolling at the University of Otago.
Eligibility criteria
Awardees of the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship must be:
- Qualified for University Entrance through NCEA Level 3 or equivalent.
- Enrolled for full-time study at the University of Otago.
Application process
No application is possible, and the selection of recipients will be at the discretion of the Vice-Chancellor.
Scholarship regulations
The Scholarship Terms and Conditions normally apply and can be found here. In addition, the following applies to these Scholarships:
- This scholarship may be held concurrently with another University of Otago Entrance Scholarship where the regulations specifically permit concurrent tenure, or the Offer Letter specifically permits concurrent tenure. Any variation of concurrent tenure will be at the discretion and with the written permission of the University of Otago.
- No concurrent tenure is normally permitted with the University of Otago New Frontiers Entrance Scholarship.
