Chieta assists candidates in a variety of learnership opportunities. Most of their advertised opportunities are within the chemical and energy sectors and are usually for a duration of 12 months unless stipulated otherwise. These learnerships will also include a small monthly stipend for successful candidates, however, they do not include transport, meals or accommodation.

Chieta Learnerships: Requirements

Each learnership offered will have requirements that must be met by the applicant. Before making your application, please ensure you meet all the said requirements to ensure your application is valid. Application received late or incomplete will not be considered.

Basic requirements:

• Candidates must be South African citizens
• They must hold a valid ID book or document
• Candidates must have a valid matric or grade 12 certification
• They must have a Diploma, Degree or relevant Qualification within the field of application
• Candidates must be fluent in English
• They must be computer literate
• Candidates must have good communication skills, both oral and written
• They must be able to solve problems and think outside the box
• Candidates must be able to work as part of a team and function well on their own
• They must be professional and detail orientated

Chieta Learnerships Closing Date

Closing dates for these learnerships are different for each field made available yearly. Some close in March or May, and others only close in July or October. Candidates who apply to one of their learnership opportunities and do not receive any feedback within one month of the closing date can assume that their application was unsuccessful.
