Employer: JB Division
Dis-Chem Pharmacies require a Cosmetics Manager for their Botswana Store in Francistown. Manage the cosmetic and beauty categories within the store. Oversee effective promoting and selling of Dis-Chem cosmetic and beauty products through excellent and consistent customer service. Ensure staffs is on the floor to assist customers
Minimum Requirements:
Essential:
- O Levels/ BGCSE
- A minimum of 3 years’ cosmetics or beauty experience within a retail environment
- Previous supervision and/management of a staff complement of around 7
- Computer literate – MS Office
- Willing and able to work retail hours
Advantageous:
- SAP experience
- Qlikview experience
Job Specification:
- Direct and support sales staff under the guidance of the Store Manager and in accordance with the Dis-Chem policies, procedures and retail working
- Ensure Cosmetic Consultants are allocated to the right and relevant cosmetic and beauty
- Ensure staff receives relevant training, and manage and encourage feedback from
- Ensure the store is adequately staffed at all
- Be accountable and manage stock control through effective planning and ordering of stock in collaboration with Dis-Chem’s warehouse and
- Manage and address customer compliments and
- Escalate serious and unresolved customer complaints to Store Manager or Regional Cosmetic
- Maintain merchandising and displays, to ensure a high standard of cleanliness within the
- Ensure monthly promotions are carried out to achieve department
- Keep up to date with in-depth knowledge regarding products, brands and the
Competencies:
Essential:
- Strong command of the English Language (written and oral)
- Be a team player
- Provide excellent customer service
- Understand stock reports and sales (target and commission calculations)
Advantageous:
- Training, development and performance management of staff
- Bilingual
Special Conditions of Employment:
- Willing and able to work retail hours
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
- Botswana citizen; or valid work permit
