ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME

The Knight Piésold Bursary will be awarded to students who intend on studying towards a Civil Engineering degree (BSc/ BEng) qualification at a University within South Africa. The bursary is aimed at providing financial assistance to disadvantaged students, who have a strong academic record but need financial assistance to pursue their tertiary studies.
 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

  • South African citizen
  • Currently in Matric
  • Excellent academic record
  • Plan on studying towards a BSc/ BEng Civil Engineering degree qualification
  • Plan on studying at a recognised and accredited South African University

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE BURSARY

Students who meet the eligibility criteria, must apply by submitting clear copies of the following supporting documentation (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application be disregarded):

  • ID document (certified copy)
  • Grade 11 final results (certified copy)
  • Matric latest results (certified copy)
  • Reference or testimonial from a teacher
  • Motivational letter to support your application
