Kalcon (Pty) Ltd invites suitably qualified and experienced Botswana Citizens for the post of;

SENIOR GENERAL FOREMAN

Requirements:

• Must have in-depth knowledge and experience in the construction of Major Civil Engineering Works, comprising in Bulk Earthworks and Concrete Structures.
• Must be fully knowledgeable in the use of various Major Construction Plant and Equipment.
• Must be capable of implementation of Construction and Production procedures
• Must have Earthworks. Plant and Concrete Team building skills
• Ability to maintain, coordinate all Site activities as well as facilitate a close working relationship between company and Sub – Contractors workers
• Prior experience with GOMACO Machines Operations is a Prerequisite requirement
• An understanding of Health, Safety. Quality Controls plans and principles.

Minimum Qualification:

• Trade Test Qualification / Recognition of Prior Learning (ROPL) with specialization in Concrete works / Equivalent
• Not less than 15 years working Experience with projects involving procurement, construction, machine operations and management of vessels (Bulk Carriers)
• Occupational Health and safety certificate with the orientation to Legal matters common with construction management
• At least 15 years’ experience working civil/building and mining construction
• Referential certificate in Vessel Management and transportation
