Research Assistant/QA/QC
We seek individuals with good interpersonal skills, energy and initiative, commitment to detail and excellence, and a keen interest in working with children to join our team in the above position.
RequirementsThe Research Assistant will report to the Head Research Nurse and be responsible for carrying out recruitment & follow-up of study participants and also carrying out of Quality Control (QC)/Quality Assurance (QA) activities in the study
- Recruit and screen participants for eligibility criteria to participate in the study
- Consent participants for participation in the study and complete the participants’ questionnaires in the electronic database
- Maintain organized record keeping in the electronic database and run queries in the database to identify gaps in follow-up
- Assist with participant follow-up schedules (telephone and visit schedules)
- Implement the Quality Assurance/Quality Control plan
- Adhere to the Study Protocol and Standard Operating Procedures
- Adhere to Good Clinical Practice and Human Subject Research guidelines
- Respond to queries from the Study Nurse and/or Study Coordinator in a timely manner
- Work in collaboration with the Study Nurse and Study Coordinator to achieve study goals and objectives
Qualification & Experience
- Form 5 (BGCSE)
- Diploma in computer/information systems
- Certificate in Health Care Auxiliary, social sciences and or related field
