Chobe Fish Eagle seeks to recruit for the below-mentioned post at Chobe Safari and Bush Lodge in Kasane, Botswana:

POSITION: FACILITIES MANAGER

Requirements

• Form 5/Cambridge with relevant qualifications, (preference will be given to tertiary certificate holders relating to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building and refrigeration)
• Five (5) years’ experience in a facilities managerial position at a 4-star establishment preferably with 100 or more bedrooms and large public areas or similar
• Good knowledge of boat motors, generators, refrigeration, electrical repairs and plumbing
• Good knowledge of landscaping and gardening advantageous
• Must be able to control and direct a large staff compliment
• Must be self-driven to maintain proactive maintenance on the property
• Must be flexible with shift work and self-motivated
• Must be willing to develop staff and junior management
• Must have traceable references
• Should have a general knowledge of other departments in a hotel
• Must have excellent internal and external customer relation skills
• Must be computer literate (Ms Word, Excel)
