The Seven Passes Initiative is a community-based organisation stationed in Touwsranten, George, Western Cape. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the full day post of an Operations Manager.
The Seven Passes seeks to appoint the Operation Manager to be based in South Africa.
To qualify, you will need to have the following:
- Be kind and friendly
- Non-judgmental
- Passion for helping others
- Trauma informed management experience
- Relevant HR qualification and experience
- NPO experience preference
- Computer literate
- Understand the importance of community development, education, youth development and parenting
- Afrikaans with isiXhosa preference
- Knowledge of fundraising
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- A problem solver who beliefs in and practice deep democracy
- Demonstrably good writing and communication skills (you will have to present a written piece)
- Will have to do psychometric tests
We will expect you to do the following along with the Director of the organisation
- Manage staff and ensure good working relations are maintained within the organisation
- Fundraising and Proposal writing
- Building and maintaining relationships with partner organisations and institutions
- Monitor and evaluate the programmes of the Seven Passes Initiative
- Oversee and build the programmes of the organisation
- Strategic Planning
- Human Resource Management
- Reporting to Donors and the Board
