Position PurposeThis role applies safety standards in executing the responsibility abstraction, treatment of water, and the monitoring of processes for compliance to set standards. It includes maintaining the reliability of water supply in line with set standards

Responsibilities include leading water attendants as well as operation of but not limited to valves, pumps, boreholes, pumps stations and reservoirs

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and effective treatment of portable water
• Ensure compliance to set potable water quality standards
• Monitoring and analyzing operational data and taking appropriate remedial measures
• Monitor and troubleshoot operating equipment
• Operate plant to achieve optimal levels of efficiency and availability
• Ensures plant adheres to safety and environmental issues
• Operate and control monitoring systems
• Participates in Health and Safety Programs

• Public Health standards compliance
• Safety and environmental upkeep of the treatment plant

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Water Engineering, Water and Environmental Engineering or related fields
• Valid driver’s license
• Three (3) years related work experience

RemunerationSalary: An attractive Salary Package Commensurate to the market

Leave: 25 working days per annum

Pension: A Contributory Pension Scheme (16.5% WUC and 4% Employee)
