CCNP equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to plan, implement, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot converged enterprise networks. The curriculum consists of three experience-oriented courses that employ industry-relevant instructional approaches to prepare students for professional-level jobs:
Programme details: CCNP has three modules designed to provide classroom and laboratory experience in current and emerging networking technology and help students prepare for certification as a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP). The three modules are: 1) CCNP ROUTE: Implementing IP Routing, 2) CCNP SWITCH: Implementing IP Switching, and 3) CCNP TSHOOT: Maintaining and Troubleshooting IP Networks. The number at the end of the module in parenthesis indicates the credit load of the module. 1 credit is equal to 10 hours of learning (guided, in-class and independent combined); therefore a 15-credit module requires on average 150 hours of learning from the student.
