What To Do If You Forget Your NSFAS Login Details

If you have forgotten your username, password, and cellphone number, you can follow these simple steps to reset your myNSFAS login details. It happens to the best of us but no worries, it can easily be solved.

Have you forgotten your old username, password, or cellphone number and are stuck when trying to log in to your myNSFAS account?

This happens all the time so you don’t need to worry. It can be sorted out by following these steps:

1. Go to www.nsfas.org.za
2. Click on myNSFAS
3. Select ‘forgot password’
4. Type in your ID number and choose what you need help with: password or username or both
5. Click ‘submit’
6. The username and the link to change your password will be sent via SMS and email
7. Open the link so that you can be taken to the reset password page
8. Reset your password by following the prompts on your screen

NSFAS has also urged beneficiaries to protect themselves from fraud by making sure that you log out of your myNSFAS account when you are not using it.

NSFAS offices will be closed for the duration of the lockdown. This closure will now impact operations at NSFAS and the Contact Centre number will be suspended for the duration of the lockdown. So if you’re having problems and you need help, you can use NSFAS Connect.
